Primary healthcare nursing development team

The primary health care nursing development team comprises a diverse group of primary health care nurses with extensive experience and qualifications, with a passion for nursing development in the primary care setting.

We provide education and professional development support for all nurses within a primary care setting including

  • New graduate Entry to Nursing programme – with a focus on primary health care
  • Return to Nursing programme
  • Professional Development Recognition programme
  • Preceptorship workshops
  • Support for post graduate studies and nursing career pathways
  • Various workshops and seminars to enhance and develop the knowledge and skills of nurses working in PHC
