Waitemata DHB is supportive of professional structures to ensure that nurses can be the best they can be. The provider services have a total staff of over 6000, 43% of which are nurses (2000+).
The organisation has grown in size, complexity and opportunity and continues to grow. Nurses working in the provider services, primary care, residential aged care and NGOs make a difference to the health of our communities. We have put systems and processes in place to support the organisation’s growth to serve the largest DHB population in New Zealand.
We are fortunate to have recruited nurses and midwives who support our values and share our commitment to providing compassionate professional health care to the communities of North Shore, West Auckland and Rodney District in Auckland, New Zealand.
