New staff orientation toolkit
The first 90 days
in a job is a critical time for every new employee as he/she learns about their new role, team and organisation. A good orientation programme assists the new employee to transition into the role smoothly and quickly.
in the toolkit are a guide to the essential systems, people and programmes necessary to begin working effectively and in an aligned way at Waitemata DHB. While we are a diverse organisation, we do need to make sure that there is some consistency across the board in terms of how we welcome and support our new employees into their roles.
A range of programmes is also available to support ongoing development, for both clinical
staff. These include for example - diversity
workshops, personal organisation
skills etc. To find out more view our course list
